MEET CHEF TYLER ROSE
Chef Tyler Rose's passion began with her Grandmother, with whom she baked at every visit, a transformative tradition that evolved from routine to adventure. Having traversed a wide landscape of both cooking and baking, she has gained a great deal of experience in various methods, while also being passionate about the culinary roads less traveled.
Her culinary journey in the Tampa Bay Area began in 2015, with incredible opportunities that presented themselves in rapid succession following her graduation from culinary school. Chef Tyler Rose helped to redevelop and eventually run a small bakery in Bradenton, Florida. She was then met with two opportunities to build her very own pastry departments from the ground up at two separate establishments, both located in Downtown, St. Petersburg. This allowed her to continue learning about new combinations of flavor and techniques while gaining experience about restaurant logistics and operations. She took a short break from the kitchen to finish her Bachelors degree at USFSP, as she worked part time at a very cool apothecary. With exposure to over 1000 herbs, spices, teas, essential oils and other herbal remedies, she gained a deeper understanding and knowledge base of how natural products effect the human body; including what herbs and spices can help with debilitating ailments such as diabetes and hypertension. As a direct continuation of the knowledge she gleaned from the restaurant industry and her undergraduate studies, Chef Tyler Rose found that her calling was to take her talents directly to the consumer. Home Appétit has so much to offer; from nutritional guidance, meal prepping, recipe development, private and group lessons, single order items (cakes, cookies, pie, etc...), and even kitchen organization. Chef Tyler Rose aims to help you elevate your life through exquisite and healthy eating. |

TESTIMONIALS |
"Tyler has been a life saver in our lives this last year. She prepares meals based on our health requirements (gluten-free, all organic, low sodium, grass fed meats and wild caught seafood). Her meals are indescribably delicious and nutritious We would never be able to eat so well with our schedules without her. She has also cooked full meals for our guest that were unbelievably delicious."
- Donna Robbins "I could not be more grateful to Tyler both for her nutrition advice and her amazing meal prep! my husband and I are both working professionals that work long hours during the week. When we decided to embark on an epic health and fitness (and weight loss) journey 6 months ago, we called on Tyler. She has been invaluable in this journey - she prepared us healthy and delicious meals that were pre-portioned (perfect for work lunches), she gave us advice on how to stay on track during work trips, and was a source of accountability and support on those tough days. We are now within 3 months of achieving our goals (for both weight loss and body composition) and you can bet we will continue to rely on Tyler to see that all our accomplishments are sustainable long term. Thank you so much Tyler; we couldn’t have made it this far without you!"
